This event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Central Bank Center from 9am-3pm.

Date: Tuesday, April 30, 2024
Time: 9am-3pm

Criminal record expungements have the potential to significantly reduce barriers to stable employment and safe housing for individuals. With each expungement granted, a door opens, leading to new pathways of opportunity.  It's a transformative process that doesn't just clear a legal record; it clears a path to a brighter, more hopeful future, where individuals can thrive and contribute positively to their communities.

Volunteer Opportunity for Attorneys:

LABG is seeking volunteer attorneys to assist clients at the clinic. Attorneys who volunteer will review criminal records and advise clients whether they have cases that are eligible for expungement.  LABG has training available for attorneys interested in volunteering at the clinic or attorneys who volunteer to represent clients by filing expungement petitions for clients after the clinic.

Last year, more than 300 people received legal assistance from volunteer attorneys, and a similar turn out is expected this year. Interested attorneys can sign up now- Volunteer to make a difference!

Thank you for your support in helping people achieve a clean slate and access better opportunities.
