Legal Aid of the Bluegrass |

Legal Aid has proven to be a vital spoke in the wheel of justice in Northern Kentucky. There can be no doubt that access to our courts for countless underprivileged citizens in our area has been significantly enhanced by the presence of Legal Aid. Its staff of highly trained and always well-prepared attorneys helps assure that justice is available to all our citizens, regardless of economic circumstance. --Honorable Martin J. We recently completed a comprehensive community legal needs assessment to assure that we continue to serve those with the most brutal unmet needs while remaining true to our mission. The findings indicate that securing and maintaining basic human needs, such as access to subsistence income, food, shelter, physical security, health care, and family integrity, continue to take precedence. The newest among these needs is helping the under employed and unemployed remove barriers to employment.
